As communities come together during the holiday season, many families continue to face food insecurity—challenges that don’t pause for celebrations. In fact, the weeks following the holidays are often among the hardest, as donations to food banks decline while demand remains high.
That’s why Village Fresh Greenhouse Grown is once again partnering with Healthy Family Project on the Carry the Cause initiative, helping restock food banks during the winter months when support is needed most.
Why MANNA FoodBank?
This year, proceeds from Carry the Cause will again support MANNA FoodBank in Asheville, North Carolina, a critical resource for families across Western North Carolina. MANNA continues to provide essential food assistance to communities impacted by last year’s Hurricane Helene, supporting continuing recovery efforts long after the immediate crisis has passed.
By supporting MANNA FoodBank, this initiative helps ensure families have access to food during a time of heightened need.
